Our Programs
Have a need? Call Love INC. The first thing you’ll hear is the voice of a caring, well equipped volunteer from one of our partner churches. A volunteer who will take the time to listen and care for you; who will inquire about the presenting need, but also explore the broader context of your situation. Everything we do revolves around relationships because Love INC isn’t just about meeting needs, it’s about meeting people where they are at, and helping them achieve their God-given potential. Here are a few of the ways we do that in our community.
Connection Center
It begins with a call. When a neighbor has a need, they call Love INC. What’s the first thing they’ll hear? The voice of a caring volunteer who will listen to and understand people’s situations. A volunteer who will take the time to listen and care for the person calling with compassion, who will inquire about the present need, but also explore the broader context of the person’s situation to direct them to the most appropriate source of help. This can mean a referral to an area agency, or services provided by area churches and volunteers through the Connection Center.
Fresh Start Classes
Fresh Start Classes are the transformation ministry of Love INC. We offer a variety of adult educational classes throughout the year that are taught by volunteers and hosted by local churches. Class topics address the material and spiritual well-being of all participants and include topics such as parenting, finances, bible study, broken relationships, GED prep and testing, and nutrition and cooking to name a few. Child care and a meal are provided to assist participants to be able to attend.
GAP Ministries
GAP Ministries include all ministries and programs operated by our partnering churches, run by volunteers in support of the Love INC Connection Center. Love INC helps churches provide holistic care for their neighbors by coordinating opportunities that mobilize the resources, gifts and relationships of their congregations.
Prayer Requests
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24)
At Love INC, God leads us through prayer. We start our day and our meetings in prayer. We pray for our clients, our volunteers, our churches and the communities that we serve. By allowing God to guide us through prayer, we allow His will and work to be done.
